Ferland on the top line can work in short spurts, but he's too inconsistent to stay there.

Does Francis realize that Treliving can make a trade when he's away? Cell phones are a thing now.

So how has Ortio played so far? I can't watch the game but it's good to see him shut...the door so far.

If Wotherspoon keeps this up IMO you could put him with Dougie on the 2nd pairing. Then have Nakladal/Engelland could be the 3rd pairing. Wotherspoon's steady game may allow Dougie to jump up more regularly.

Wait. Sean Monahan needs protection?

Yup. Small and soft. Trade immediately.

Wotherspoon isn't ready for those minutes yet I think.

Hartley playing Nak and Spoon more than I thought he would. Must be liking the pairing and their chemistry.

He's still quite young and a late bloomer. Consistency may just be a matter of time with him, we'll see.

I don't know who the Islanders are matching-up against the Monahan line... but it is not working out for them whoever it is.

We can hope. I don't think his high end is enough for a regular top line role. But even at that, he'd be a decent elevation to that line from time to time.
