Colby just staring at the guy he's trying to pass to. Should've just shot and he would of looked like a genius.

Another excellent period. Wish the score reflected the level of play.

BTW who was the defenseman that had that one bad giveaway into the slot from the left side? Wotherspoon?

Hindsight being 20/20 and all that. Can't assume Wideman would have been that awful all year long coming out of training camp.

Hindsight is 20/20. Flames had every reason at the start of the year to believe Wideman would be good.

Two great periods so far from the Flames. It's amazing how differently they play when they have a goaltender they can actually rely on to make a save or two.

The Flames and odd man rushes are this seasons equivalent of Byron's breakaways last season. Frustrates me that neither Johnny nor Colborne looked to shoot, all they had in their minds was 'pass it'.

Another solid period by the Flames. Just hope we don't regret not being up by 2 or 3 now, had enough chances.

And yet, he didn't. This is why Colborne is what he is. I just don't think he'll ever reach that higher level.

And they reportedly tried to trade Wideman last summer. What more are they supposed to do exactly? Some fans will just always grumble I guess.

Well, every reason except for a brutal training camp.

Yea, stupid fans should just be happy with the way this season has gone.
