So I opened the Sun today, went to the sports section, and saw they had a two page article by Francis. I put the paper down, and remembered why I never read that rag.

I hate to defend Francis, but apples and oranges. Hudler is more expensive and a winger.
I think he's more than a 3rd though.

I do the same thing when both Eric Francis and The Kardashians are on my T.V. It goes as thus:
1) Sit astonished by the stupid things that come out of their mouths.
2) Wonder how such a human being made it so far in life.
3) Get upset by what was given to them by their parents.
4) Curse their very existence.
5) Change the channel.

Not necessarily. Demand for defencemen is higher.
Not that I agree that Hudler will only get a 2nd. Just saying that Polak's value doesn't affect Hudler's.

Well logically it could also follow that depth defensemen may go for more than 2nd line forwards just because the defensemen are in such short supply. Overall the market for defensemen will be higher than the market for forwards IMO.
All that said I still disagree with Francis and think Hudler is worth at least a 2nd.
