This is actually great football to watch.

United isn't stuck on the perimeters.. these kids got some penetrating jam.

Rashford with another. 3-1

What a story for Rashford, saving United's year on his debut.

Don't worry, wait til he starts attending LVG's training sessions -- he'll kill that creativity yet.

It would make sense though since Van Gaal wanted hornier players to trust an 18-year old...

Of course Van Gaal can't let him get a hat-trick. Still full credit to United, could have easily folded down 1-0 but fought back.

Was that a second yellow, or double-yellow (foul/dissent) ?

Obligatory co-efficient reference. Obviously United going through instead of out really helps.

WHAT A DAY for the coefficient

that pretty much wraps it up for the season

3 English teams through in EL, 2 Italian teams out

only Italian teams left in Europe (Roma and Juve) both likely out this round of the CL too

Given that the PL thread is primarily used by Liverpool, United and Spurs fans, I'd say it's not a huge surprise

Midgetland was still only a goal away from winning the tie.

Tie out of reach? Sure. But when still on the line then no time for sentiments.

United-Liverpool in the round of 16. Of course. Spurs get Dortmund so those are both solid matchups.
