She is an evil corrupt lizard, but I am certain she would be better than the last 2... Your comment re Trudeau clearly suggests you are not familiar with my body of work.

She's experienced and qualified, in that respect perhaps.
I think the nagging question is whether or not she is working for the average Joe lunch pail or for her good buddies at Goldman Sachs. That and she doesn't stand for anything, at least until it's time to garner votes.

Look, she is likely cut from the same cloth as her husband - they are dishonest and corrupt; I assume she doesn't have a thing for trailer trash girls... Nevertheless, Bill was an effective president, able to work both sides of the aisle. I assume she would be pragmatic as well. I don't like her, but I assume she would be competent and basically work from the middle.

No one ever elected to any role above congress has ever given more than a passing thought to joe lunch pail, they are all working for Goldman Sachs or Carnagie Steel.

The issue being this: which of the other candidates is working for the average Joe lunch pail? Honestly?
Trump has absolutely no actual policy ideas outside of rambling about the Mexicans and Muslims and building a wall. Also he's a millionaire, born and raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, he has absolutely no idea what middle class life is like.
Cruz is a theological nutjob, he's gotten some nice campaign contributions from Goldman Sachs, and he's also got the Oil/Gas industry in his back pocket.
Rubio isn't nearly experienced enough, and he's also taken campaign contributions from Goldman Sachs.
Hillary definitely has Wall Street in her back pocket, no question about that--but outside of Sanders, there isn't anyone who doesn't have big money in their back pocket. Trump isn't taking money from millionaires because he already is one, but his interests aren't going to be about taking care of the middle/lower classes, his interests are going to be about keeping himself and his buddies living comfortably and paying fewer taxes.
We could avoid a lot of this without the Citizens United ruling. Thanks, Scalia!

lol at Trump's go to line when someone says something to him bad about the wall: "The wall just got 10 feet higher". He's said it enough the wall has to be 90 feet by now the last few weeks.

Apparently it makes you the frontrunner for the Dems
Look, I don't think she would make a good president, she is a lying piece of trash. Her corruptness will dog her (ruff ruff) all the way to November. But the fact remains she is a part of the system, career politician, and that will be her downfall in my opinion. It's why we have seen Sanders and Trump make the waves that they have.

I think that Clinton would likely be the most fiscally conservative president of all the possibilities. Her husband was probably the most fiscally conservative president the US has ever had.

Sanders is almost believable. Agreed that he does seem to represent the average American voter, that's his main appeal. His platform will be seen as too radical though IMO, and he will be stonewalled by congress in the off chance he actually makes POTUS.
Other posters mentioned it earlier in this thread, but I absolutely agree with them that Sanders dropping out could swing much of his support over to Trump.

Well at least by staying in the race Ben Carson got to drop "The fruit salad of their life", whatever the hell that means.

If/when Sanders drops out, I'd guess that the lion's share of his supporters are either going to no-show or go to Hillary. At least of the Sanders supporters I know, the realization is that Hillary is far from perfect, she's basically equally as beholden to Wall Street as are the GOP candidates (again, Trump is already a millionaire, and his tax plan favors the top 20% of earners, he doesn't actually have the middle class in mind for anything).
But whereas most of the GOP candidates are going to not only screw us fiscally--they're also going to attempt to undo the social progress that has been made. They're going to try to undo marriage equality, they're going to do their best to stop the progression toward LGBT equality, they're going to try to make abortion impossible if not flat out illegal. Even Kasich, who is relatively moderate in this GOP field--he's made huge regression on women's healthcare access in Ohio in his time in office, and as a woman of child-bearing age, that's a huge sticking point for me.
Hillary isn't the best choice, but she's far from the worst.

If Rubio can't get a strong bump after this, or Trump a sharp decline, then it probably can never happen. This is easily Trump's worst performance.

I don't really disagree with your assessment wittynickname, but you must realize that while there are people on the same side of those issues as yourself, there are many who are on the other side, and it will drive policy proposals towards serving the wants of constituents? As well as many voters who simply do not care for those issues, for better or worse, and are either indifferent or entrenched in identity politics.
Whats left of the field of candidates are all poor choices.

Cruz is piling on too. If Rubio and Cruz and the media can keep being this pointed with Trump, they can knock him out.

I think it's too late to knock him out of the GOP race. Rubio and Cruz will both stay in this too long and Trump will simply get enough votes to come through. Rubio apparently is prepping for a possible brokered convention, but we'll see if it can even get to that point.
