Renewal notice email received today.

No price increase for me.

Looks like some push back from Stampeder season ticket price increases might have help keep a lid on some or all Flames season ticket price increases.

increasing prices in this economy after this season would have been a PR disaster

Yup. The Flames had no choice but to hold the line on ticket prices. They made the right decision.

pr disaster or not, i'm quite surprised that the flames didn't increase prices...they haven't been shy to have increases in the past when the team hasn't made the playoffs, etc.

Combination of both a struggling team and a struggling economy.

Is this just to gauge interest? I don't have any payment options as I have in previous seasons. Is it a lump sum now?

There's the same options as always, scroll down the link in their email. Lump sum / 4 payments / 10% / monthly options.

Posted in the Ticket Sales sub-forum, but I'm looking to sell my 1/3 for 2016/17 since I'll be out of the country for a good portion of the season. Sec 211, row 22. PM if interested. Seasons tix are in my name as well.

There was a letter from Ken King that said there were no price increases. There are the same payment options as last year. Like last year, I'm not sure how closely people read these notices, as many of the first comments, then and now, are clearly explained.

Hey Bouw N Arrow, shouldn't you be busy this time of the day cleaning some Canadian's pool or pouring them a drink they saved all their life for?

They will make up for a lack of ticket price increase by increasing the beer prices by $0.75-$1.00 instead of the typical $0.25-0.50 yearly increase

It all has to go somewhere, so I hope they fix the concourse and facilities, CalgaryNEXT looking more like CalgaryNEXTBoom.

The email doesn't include the letter, so for most of us, the first indication of a price hold was upon logging into our Flames account.

Usually shows up a few days later in the mail. The reason I know this is my wife opens the mail and instantly wants to have a conversation about why she couldn't by "X" and I can spend that much on the Flames.

Same thing here. Her ideas aren't bad, in fact they're generally quite practical but, but, the Flames. That being said, prices are actually very near what we can justify, so I am glad there is no increase.

I anticipate there may be many individuals with little choice but to let their season tickets go.
