I never liked Hiller's style, it's outdated, his rebound control is horrible, didn't like it when BT first signed him, and obviously don't like it now, glad to see him gone for good.

I'm not sure its an outdated style - a lot of young goalies play the same style (but add in some fight for the puck, which Hiller lacks these days, and are also bigger and better at it).

They are also able to lift their trapper and blocker above their knees.

Well, he's officially worse than Ortio. I now stand by my comment that "earned, never given" is a sales promotion more than a mandate.

Only if Ortio doesn't get the net again. Otherwise I fail to see the point.

That Hiller was given more starts than he's earned as of late, which is especially true now that an obviously better candidate has been here this whole time

Hiller is awful at rebound control. The problem isn't so much giving up rebounds, it's where you put those rebounds. I know that Kipprusoff used to work at directing those rebounds into the corners and into safe areas of play. He controlled where the puck would go. Hiller puts those rebounds right in front, and then he is weak down low.

Sure, but that's bad play, not an outdated style. Same with having a weak glove.

Hiller is so bad that Micheal Jackson's "Bad" is too good to be his theme song.
He's so bad, the refs are starting to feel sorry for the Flames.
He's so bad the leafs might try to trade for him to help the tanking.
