Scott injured Eriksson in 2013 with a pretty vicious hit. Scott was suspended 7 games.

It isn't too much of an intuitive leap. Scott fights, therefore Scott is a goon. Goons (read: fighting) has no place in hockey. Therefore Scott has no place in hockey.

Wow, I get it. The Eriksson hit had zero to do with fighting. There is no connection with fighting in hockey and a dirty head shot. That's like saying Jiri shouldn't comment on Scott's headshots because Scott is really tall and Jiri clearly doesn't like tall people.

I actually hope Liev isn't cast as Scott. He's already Ross Rhea. Not 100% sure who should, but I really hope Liev doesn't.

It looks like Mandalay Sports Media mostly makes sports related documentaries for cable networks (ESPN, HBO, NFL Network) or online distribution (Vice, Yahoo, XBox Entertainment): http://www.imdb.com/company/co0376114/?ref_=fn_co_co_6
If this does see the light of day, it will likely be something like an ESPN 30 for 30 or similar. Sportsnet might show it during the All Star break next year.

I can't wait for the sequel about Denis Wideman and his wrongful changes of assaulting an official because he was concussed and how the team has been treated unfairly and refs have taken over games.
