kinda meh deal, Granlund is an NHLer but doubtful he ever makes a big impact.
Shinkaruk may never be an NHLer but has offensive upside if he does.
But all your 2013 1st rounders belong to us, next up is Drouin haha.

Well I've been wondering all season what they were going to do with Backlund/Granlund. Then Backlund started playing solid hockey and Granlund continued to be meh and it seemed like Granlund's long term future here was extremely questionable.
Getting a former 1st rounder who is having a good year in the AHL for our 2nd rounder seems like solid asset management. I like the trade. We need to load up on some offensive winger prospects.
