Yeah, that was not a great episode on the whole. They have so much to get through, it's just weird when they decide to take an episode to have so little happen.

I think that's the point. He's apparently a slippery fellow.

I dunno about that. Pulling off all those stunts would take a...miracle

And that's likely to be the only explanation - "he's good at escaping things!". But... How?

also, could people just start telling their companions what they're thinking, seeing or hearing? would that be ok to do once in a while? or how about just be super vague and frustrate everyone with the lack of information sharing?
oh well, at least Rick's in a good mood. ain't no thinking about Jessie for sure now.

Not a big fan of this latest episode of Darryl and Rick's Redneck Adventures.

It wasn't a terrible episode. I actually enjoyed seeing Rick and Darryl in a slightly different tone. And this Jesus character seems interesting. But yeah the stuff with Deanna was a little meh.
The only thing that bothers me is that the show is definitely built to be binged. They rarely do back-to-back episodes with actions because it would probably be too much for one sitting. So a slower-paced episode was completely expected. I kinda wish the general tones of each episode would change so that I didn't know what to expect.

That was like a 'Buddy Cop' episode. Not great but it was pretty light and a little fun. No big deal.
I was awaiting the introduction of Daryl's obscure Irish relative:

I can't figure out what happened to Carl.
Carl is leading Deanna through the woods. She suddenly stops following and goes to Michonne and Buddy. Doesn't Carl go and see where she went? It just seemed odd.
I am willing to bet that "Jesus" is a "good-guy". The show seems to be looking for another good group. Although the trailer makes him seem bad, I reckon he is a goodie.

and my crush on Michonne gets stronger, she looked amazing that episode.
I liked the musical foreshadowing at the start of the episode though.

Was the Rick and Michonne thing in the books? Can I even ask that in here?

Not sure but I can only think that it won't end well as either one will die or something bad happens that destroys their relationship.

I only ask because there was an audible groan and a huge eye-roll from our resident book reader that watches the show with us when that scene went down.

Let's not speculate as to what happens in the comics. Treat this thread as if the comics do not exist at all.

?
Wasn't he just leading Deanna to them? I'm pretty sure that was the whole point of that.

Honestly, I don't think I'd enjoy a show written by you, where every little detail is explained. If you want that level of detail, read a book.

Yeah...I think Carl was basically taking the stance that Spencer should be responsible for killing his mother.
Thats what I get out of the argument between Carl and Enid when he says "I'd do it for you."

Well, that and his argument with Michonne after where he said pretty much exactly that.

Yeah it was Carl leading Deanna to Spencer so he can put her down, IIRC Michonne said she saw Carl in the forest with them.
I didn't mind a lighter episode though.
