I don`t think they`re
that different. We have a lot of talent on this roster, what we`re missing is putting it all together like they did. I don`t care where we are in the standings, I think we`re only a few pieces away from the top.
Giordano / Hossa (older veteran who`s every bit a dominant player playing at an elite level)
Brodie / Keith (no-brainer, they`re the same human being. )
Hamilton / Seabrook (doesn't take a genius to point out the similarities)
Bennett / Toews (Hound-dog center with all sorts of puck skill and speed and leadership and everything else you could possibly ask for. Sammy's unproven right now, but he will be a premier center in the league)
Gaudreau / Kane (again, no-brainer)
Monahan / Sharp or Panarin (your other elite scorer, just because Panarin now replaced Sharp doesn't mean Sharp wasn't core in three different cup wins)
??? Large Right Wing / Hjalmarsson (since Giordano is a defenseman and Hossa a RW, we need a RW equivalent of Hammer
value-wise.)
??? Goaltender / Crawford
Those six of eight pieces right there are all your core. I don't know where you get that RWer.
