Default February 20 with nine games.

The weekly Saturday tripleheader (since January) continues with a morning game. The majority of OOT games in Canada are on regular television.

We won last night, now we need the other bottom teams to win too.

in the Pens/TB game, Letang loses his stick, interferes with a Lightning guy, takes his stick and starts playing with it. No kidding. And then he and Bylsma bitch endlessly because he got a penalty for it. Gets four minutes (illegal stick, unsportsmanlike) which probably sinks their chances for a comeback in this one.

You would think Bylsma would have stopped caring about Letang when the Penguins fired him 20 months ago. Idiot!

Here is the weekend press release from Sportsnet which mentions the commentating crew for each game, special features, and playoff watch information. There is one game in particular that has a hilarious write up.

"Playoff Watch: While Connor McDavid and the Oilers hope to jumpstart a late-season playoff push, the Avs look for a victory in Edmonton strengthen their Wild Card position."

The Lightning win 4-2 and Stamkos scored his 300th career goal. Tampa Bay had good penalty killing, they were down two men for 68 seconds.

And Jagr ties Brett Hull for 3rd all time in goals. Further cementing the legend of Jagr.

Bernier gets pulled less than a minute into the 2nd. 3-1 Flyers.

And Bernier lets in a weak one and is pulled. If we're scouting him not much exciting to see there.

Ehlers on the power play, 1-0 Jets after one period. Jagr ties it in the second period with his 19th goal of the season and ties Brett Hull at 741 career goals

If I had to pick between having Bernier as our backup or Mason Raymond as the 15th forward, I'd take Bernier every time. He still has potential and was a great prospect before and goalies are unpredictable.

It would also help in the fact that the Flames would only need to find one other goalie and you could sign a slightly risker guy and tell both to fight it out for the #1 spot. Raanta/Bernier wouldn't be a terrible option for a year while we wait for Gillies/McDonald to develop.

Unless Chia does something crazy this summer the Oilers will be a bottom feeder again next season. Bad defense, bad team defense.

^^You gotta wonder if he considers trading the pick if its top three, even if it's number one, because they badly need actual NHL players and not potential guys. You need guys not raised on last place finishes. Top 3 pick should net a very nice return, probably more than they can get for anyone save McDavid or Hall.
