Good to see Wotherspoon and Nakladal play well.
This team really needs cheap depth defense options moving forward, especially with Gio's contract kicking in next season.
If only Wideman, Smid and Engelland had decent value.

Thought Hiller was better after getting shelled for a bit. Give credit where it's due there.
Liked Nakladal's game - he's got a decent shot and a good eye for when to go. Thought 'spoon was quietly effective.
Really liked Bennett's game at centre - more ice for him and the boys opened up the wings rather well.
And for once, the second line took over the game - very happy to see that. Now, if we can get all three lines going at the same time.....(I've really only "sort of given up on the season" so far).
Oh, and a LOT less giveaways directly in front of the net. That seems to be a good thing.

Don't worry. My inner fan is still having dreams of them rattling off a miraculous 10 game streak...
But it's simply impossible with Hiller in net.
If the 2nd line could just be that for us each night.
Yeah the amount of really close in chances and cross crease passes teams are able to make is a bit ridiculous. Have a presence in front of your own dang net. Take your man, tie him up.

I probably sound like an old man yelling at a cloud but these thread titles for a PGT really annoy me and just look childish and makes the site look bad IMO.
Comments or jokes like ones in the thread title should be a post in the thread not the thread title. I guarantee you the OP is 19 years old or younger. Just seems so amateur for such a well respected site especially among the media.
