All your 5-2 losses belong to the Nucks.

Flames win the season series against Vancouver.

Not sure if it's the beer or the canuckleheads being that bad but this game I didn't feel the same panic when the 3rd D pair was out there.

Game thoughts:

- Sam looked great at center. So many nice little plays to his linemates. Pity that line didn't get on the score board, they were a huge positive.
- Nakladal solid, picks up an assist. Nice skater. With a bit more NHL experience he will get better at clearing the zone.
- Tyler Wotherspoon, he wants to be an NHL Defenseman!
- I still don't miss Kris Russell. At all. Even Engelland is looking better in our top 4 than Russell, though he still is not a top 4D.
- TJ Brodie, what can I say. Just elite.
- Johnny/Monny line looked fine against the Sedin line. Having Brodie/Gio unlike the playoffs really helps them out in that matchup.
- Backlund... such a great center
- Bouma's best game of the year, by far. Him and Jooris are a great match.
- shoutout to Dougie for that End-to-End on the PP.

Wow a no good record for the Canucks 4 5-2 losses in a row first time in NHL history!

It's neither. 3rd pairing was solid.

Including the playoffs, the Flames have won 8 of the last 11 games against the Canucks.

The D were Good. I would be fine with these D lines next year.

Nakladal was great tonight.

Wotherspoon Quiet in a good way.

Brodie 3 assists, +2. Make that 36 points in 48 games and +16!

Took a break from the blue line and chilled out in front the net in the third period just cause. Nbd.

Dude is a god of the defence.

It's amazing what this team looks like with a bottom pairing that can actually play with the puck on their stick.

Hiller had a post and a gift miss from Sedin. The game could have been tied but for the grace of God. And that game should have been a shutout. The team played well enough to earn that.

That forty foot sauce from Brodie in the last ten minutes was a work of art. We have a special player on the blue line.

Bennett's wrist shot is Joe Sakic good.

People wanted to trade Dougie Hamilton for Travis goddamn Harmonic. Child please.

Loved Bouma's intensity tonite - that is exactly what the Flames need from him.

Also liked that "delayed" double Dion he pulled on one shift!
