I occasionally have dreams related to work though most of the time work is just the enviroment, all the scenarios/situations are made up (or maybe prophecy?!:P).

it's weird. first job after moving to Calgary for school was 7-11, and i had very frequent dreams about it after quitting. then i joined FedEx Ground but have never dreamed about that job once (i think maybe because i actually liked the work. the pay sucked though). and when i quit that to join Shaw as a first tier technical support rep the work dreams started right up again. after moving to a different position though they stopped and i haven't dreamt about work for a long time. course i'm not exactly pleased about my current situation so they may fire up again

Heh, I have very similar nightmares about Moxies too. I worked at the one on 17th for two years ending in 1999. Just like you I started in dishwasher and worked my way up to the line. I hated every minute of it. My dream mostly deals with having to wash endless piles of pots caked in brocoli cheese soup.
I also get that one about not going to class until the final exam. I'm not sure why I get this, seeing as how in real life if I had done this, I don't know why I would even bother showing up for the last exam.

Oh man, good to see I am normal. But I get them way too frequently.
"where's that god damn well mid rare steak?!?! It's been 25 mins and my fries are getting cold!".... oh the horrible dreams.

I used to have a lot of work related dreams when I worked at Moxie's. We would call those Moxiemares. I worked there for about 4-5 years. I went from dishwasher to Kitchen Manager. I quit in 2002, but since then. I was regularly getting Moxiemares once to twice a month. Which was fine. But it's been 4 years now since I stepped foot into a kitchen setting like Moxie's. But I still get dreams of myself working my ass off, sweating, getting burnt, getting stressed..... crashing on the line (a term used in kitchen lingo meaning getting slammed with orders in the kitchen). The dreams are never good because I am very upset in my dream and can really feel it. I have no idea what I am doing back there in my dreams. I even had one dream where it was so bad, I knew in my dream it must have been another Moxiemare. I yelled in my dream to wake up. And I woke up, just like that.
Do you guys still dream of work regularly? Even from a job you quit a while ago? I really don't like these Moxiemares, and I want them to stop. I don't know how to supress any of this.

The only work dreams I have are of the porno variety. I'm always seducing my hot female coworkers, which is dangerous, because she is my boss' sister!

I had work dreams in high school while I was working at McDonalds. Those were terrible as I'd dream an 8 hour shift from start to finish. I'd wake up in the morning with my neck and shoulders being sore from tension. It sucked hard.
Also, I don't know if they were work dreams but about a month ago my wife said I was yelling in my sleep three nights in a row. She said it wasn't just excited screaming but that I was forming words and thoughs only I was yelling. I felt really bad about that one. I imagine it wouldn't be a pleasant way to be jarred awake in the middle of the night.

Funny topic as I to have had a couple of the same dreams as other people. I sure regarding the Moxienares its common to have dream like that as sometimes in restaurant jobs you get soooo busy that you feel you can't get the work done, that stress comes out in your dream. I've had tons of Olive Gardenares, many of them start when the managers like "Trevor you've got the whole restaurant today" and I'm running my ass off serving 40 tables. Neeper next time you have that dream take that mid-rare steak out to the table and throw it at the customer then quit, I think that worked for me.
My re-occuring one is the school one just like others, where I forget about a class and the final is in a couples days and I know I'm not going to graduate must have something to do with me not being satisfied with my education. I'm just waiting to have the real estate dream where I've got an angry mod of people trying to get into my house so I can show them homes haha.

I used to get Earlsmares when I worked at Earls, since I stopped, they have gone away.
It was reoccuring one of two different ones, the printer would be going off non-stop in the first one and I would feel completely overwhelmed with work, or it would be a neverending, repeativity cycle of bills, slowly pouring in, not too many, not too few, always enough to keep you constantly working at a regular pace.
Never had ones about dish though, usually the ones I get were associated w/ the Apps call station (for those who know what I'm talking about).
