Here is an excerpt from a Puck-Daddy article posted this morning on the situation;

“He still can’t do anything because he hasn’t gone two days symptom-free,” said a source familiar with Henderson’s back pain and concussion struggles since the collision that earned Wideman a 20-game suspension.

“I don’t think he’s coming back anytime soon, if at all.”

Let's take Henderson's injuries at first value. Concussions affect people differently, suggesting that he's faking an injury due to politics is classless.

A) Saw the nature of the hit from behind.

and

B) Felt the full effects of the injuries he suffered.

Nobody said the NHLPA isn't doing that.

It's about league politics, which include the teams, players and officials associations. They are all trying to protect their interests by promoting their own narrative.

Officials could have given Wideman a misconduct after the game, after seeing the video and they chose not to. That lends something to the theory of the media ####storm changing opinions

Francis basically accused Wideman of faking it when he was back at practice...yet a fan suggesting it of an official is way off base.
