Can't we all just get along - maybe agree on some neutral topic like how the Coyotes need to leave Glendale for a real hockey city?

Fixed that for you as there is no distance too far to drive for a good burger.

Nash in Inglewood has a great, great burger, but it is $17. You get probably a cup of fries to go with it.

I still reckon Buchanan's is the best burger in Calgary, comes in just under $20.
You can get it done rare.

That is one thing I miss in Canada, being able to determine how you want your burger cooked.
It surprised me the first time I was in the US but its awesome.

Yeah if memory serves, they grind their own meat fresh.

I feel like you meant to say the US instead of Canada in your fist sentence.
It's taboo in Canada, except for those restaurants who grind their own beef, to serve anything other than well done.

So much has changed in 7 years, you'll barely recognize it. We now wear hats on our feet and hamburgers eat people.

Japanese village is still there. Same owner, although he has taken a step back and is only there part time. My opinion, the quality has gone down a bit. But lunch is still an unreal deal
Best Korean, I read Seoul being recommended. I agree, but also a place called Korean Village on 10th avenue which is really good. Seoul is great if you feel like meat sweats. Korean Village I find more authentic. Either or you're paying quite a bit
Best dim sum, there are a few. Central Grand at New Asia up by 16th ave and Center Street is standard and decent. If you're up in the north end, Golden Central on McKnight and Center is decent and decently priced. If you're in Harvest Hills area/ Beddington, a popular place is T Pot. It's kind of a fusion take on dim sum. I like it, but it is a bit more expensive and you have to get there by 1030 to get a seat.
If you want good Chinese food, there is a place in Panorama called Ginger Beef Bistro. Best Peking duck in the city in my opinion. Ho Won in Chinatown is a safe bet too for good hole in the wall Chinese food at a good price.
I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I'd like to think I still have a decent grasp of Asian food in Calgary even though I don't live here anymore, and just visit every couple months.

You're right, it wasnt very clear, but I like the ability to determine how I want my burger cooked which I can only get in the US.

Awesome, thanks! She's vietnamese and doesn't believe me when I tell her about this mystical "Beef Sate Pho" which they DO NOT HAVE in the USA.. Man, I miss that. Going to have to visit Pho Huong Viet (Used to be under the apartments on Bow Tr across from BP's but I think they moved to 17th ave, 37th st.

3 pages in and not one subtle jab about coolers. What has CP come to!
To actually contribute something, yes My Donair is still in Westbrook Mall and it is as good as ever. That place was one of the best hungover, hole in the wall finds I've ever made. Enjoy.

This thread has taught you that is not correct.
Buchanan's and Nash will do your burger the doneness you want.

False!
I want them run a cow by me so that I can put a slice of bread on either side of it.
That is the 'doneness' that I want.

BTW, screw Westbrook Mall, Chinook and Southcenter will be almost unrecognizable to you.
The best part is you can go get judged by the #######s making $15 bucks an hour working at Burberry and Harry Rosen as if they could afford to shop there.
