shot looks nice but Hiller is down early...he is terrible upstairs

guy won't be in the league next year so enjoy defending him for a couple months

I agree that the 2nd goal was a very good shot, but Hiller's reaction to it is not what I expect from an NHL goaltender. He didn't put himself in a position to make a save.

I feel like Treliving is the adult version of Brian Burke. Says nearly the exact same thing as Burke, but does so in a calm and composed manner without letting emotions get in the way.

4-8th pick. Still nice, but no Finn.
3 lottery picks. We have a good chance.

Could be Sigalet who needs to go if all the goalies look bad.

It's probably tough to coach 3 goalies on the full roster though.

Hiller's definitely not helping but this team stinks and blaming everything on Hiller is just masking the root problems of this team which is sloppy defense and turnovers. This team simply doesn't play solid fundamental hockey.

Fair enough.

It just seems like every good scoring chance shot on goal goes in plus a few softies.

Hiller needs to have that second goal.
The second one is one you'd like your goalie to have to be a difference maker, I'll give you that, but that's not a bad goal, he just didn't bail a very bad play in front of him out.

We suck.

Bennett needs to shoot the puck, that 2nd goal was his fault aside from Hiller's awful goaltending

That's what I guessed as well. Was quick to pump his tires during that segment. Trying to increase trade value?

Treliving's message is getting stale for me. It's verbatim the very first interview he gave day 1 he got hired. Parse in some current events from here and there but he's definitey a stone wall in terms of not giving an inch.

Also sick of the hand sitting. as much work as he does (I will not suspect otherwise, pretty well known league wide and in the media) there is so much hand sitting. I get being loyal to the roster you built but this is getting ridiculous. There's dead weight and you're not providing any solutions. Let's get rolling on the player movement already.

GM's usually aren't swayed by comments in an intermission segment

Treliving sounds pretty down compared to most of his tenure as GM.
