I appreciate what The Beatles did for music, and I don't hate them by any stretch, but when it comes to popular things I don't care for they are at the top of my list.

As for popular things I greatly dislike:
- Alcohol (both the taste and most people on it)
- Beyonce (unlistenable)
- Reggae (Bob Marley specifically)

Too each their own. I have a few Beatles songs on my rotation, but they rarely make it on any more.

I find their earlier stuff is too bland 60s boy band and their later stuff was trying to be edgy just for the sake of it and for the commercial advantage it gave them at the time. Music was already moving in that direction anyway, but being a top 40 pop group and immersing themselves in it made it popular.

That's not to say they didn't have some good songs, but I do think they are hyped up way more than they should be.

Zeppelin needs to be taken in full albums at a time. Some of their best songs are ones many have never heard of.

Cake.

Once in a blue moon I will try some cake that is actually good.

Most of the time it is just dried out garbage with too much icing that is way too sweet.

Store-bought cakes are pitiful. I make my own and they're delicious.

Fondant is ridiculous, though. I don't know why chicks keep using it. Who cares how fancy your cake looks if it tastes disgusting?

Does anyone really like reggae? Maybe just the perpetually stoned guy.

I don't even think most of those guys like it.

And I'm gonna add boxer shorts to this discussion. They're so uncomfortable. Boxer briefs are the ultimate form of men's underwear.

Heck, those Beatle guys can't even get into a Grammy after party anymore.

Saw McCartney live 10 years ago, incredible 3 hour show. He was 63 at the time and was absolutely amazing. Still love the Beatles. It's the first music I remember my parents playing for me.

Geez, sometimes I love Raggae. I couldn't name an artist or tune but if I'm just relaxing, not stoned even, it's great to find some random Raggae playlist and let it run.

I'm shopping for a new minivan, and I'll be damned if I can find a nicely equipped one without a rear entertainment system. I don't mind the kids using an ipad on a longer trip, but the amount of systems I see being used on the way to school is saddening.

I don't want the inevitable question of putting a video on every time we jump in the car.
Fantastic for long trips. Wouldn't go without right now (kids 7 and 9). Next car likely won't have one as they'll have their own ipads and what not I'm guessing.

As for the inevitable question...all you have to say is no. It's amazing how well "no" works. Many parents should try it sometime.

Is your exposure of olives limited to the generic green olives in a jar at safeway or the awful black ones that go on too many pizzas? If you like olive oil, there are a lot of olives that you should like.

I hate The Doors. I think a lot of people hate the Doors, but enough people like The Doors that it deserves mention.

The Doors are awful.

You're a closet 4:20 guy, admit it.

Just not my thing. I'm sure others think this about some of my music, but it's the same tune over and over.

To participate...camping. Can't stand it. Unless the "tent" comes complete with A/C, private shower, a king size bed, indoor pool for the kids you can forget it. Wait that's a hotel. Hotelling I like.

People

The smell the sound, the relentless march towards mediocre ends and death.

The ability to try to make their problems your priorities, the dishonesty the fabrications and boasts.

the bad hairstyles, the evil intent, the dark secrets eating away at their rotting conscience that comes off of them in waves like the smell of rotting beef on a hot day..

The mindlessness, and incisiveness the need to please in a relentless sacrifice of progression and enlightenmnet.

their bigotry and hatred hidden behind false smiles and catch phrases.

Their inability to see that what they perceive as freedom is actually slavery

Oh and I really hate the color Blue.

I hate buffets. What's to like, really?

When I go out for a meal, I go for the whole experience. I want to be served. I don't want to go serve myself from the same dish that's been picked over by dozens of undoubtedly disgusting people, using the same serving utensils that they used after definitely not washing their hands.

I want a plate that's been assembled by someone with purpose, with portions and presentation at least given the tiniest bit of thought.

I was raised to not waste money, so I don't need to be eating a meal where I'm constantly wondering if "I'm getting my money's worth" and inevitably ending up overeating.

I prefer my food to be served shortly after it's been prepared and not after it's been dried out and/or become an unrecognizable mess after been mashed around by a serving spoon.

There is nothing good about a buffet.

Alcohol in general actually. Pretty much none of it. Beer, wine, cocktails. Whatever. It's not a moral thing. It's generally pretty expensive, I don't like the taste, and just don't like getting drunk. It just makes me feel tired. My gf is the same way. Funny enough, the only drink we both enjoy are Caesars. Probably because it doesn't really taste like alcohol.
