It's 0-0 at the end of the 1st period. Great save by Howard on a Tavares shot.

Nelson high sticked the puck into Howard, then bounced the rebound off Howard and in. Play wasn't reviewable.

The Islanders beat the Red Wings 4-1, Greiss was in net for the Islanders and faced 29 shots.

Bjugstad scores, 1-0 Panthers. Cali Flames Fan, we need your commentary for this game.

Hah, no comment from me as I was busy with dinner until now. Good to see Bjugstad score. Before both Barkov and Pirri went down he was playing 3rd line minutes. Pirri was actually playing top line center last game between Jagr and Huberdeau. Lines are all mixed up tonight, and the bottom 6 has the likes of Greg McKegg, Garrett Wilson, and John McFarland on them, along with veterans Derek McKenzie, Shawn Thornton, and Logan Shaw. The defense is still without Willie Mitchell and Gudbranson. Montoya in net. Panthers lineup is hurting quite a bit these days.

Montoya has sure been busy as he has stopped all 18 shots so far. The Penguins are out shooting the Panthers 9-1 in the second period. It is deja vu because it was just nine days ago these teams played each other in Florida. Repeat scores for the previous two games, 3-2 Penguins in overtime. http://sportsstats.cbc.ca/hockey/nhl...summary_6.html

The Blackhawks are already up 2-0 over the stinkin' Leafs. Mashinter and Toews are the goal scorers.

The Predators lead 1-0 after twenty minutes with Carter Hutton in goal for Nashville.

Jesus...Crosby whines about every single play to the refs. He's pretty unlikeable most nights. I respect his talent, but man, his attitude sucks.

Mother####er!!!! Just like last game, the Panthers have a lead over the Penguins with just a handful of minutes left and the Penguins tie it. Unbelievable.

Panthers need to get healthy soon. 6 regulars out tonight with the most notable being Barkov. They're doing their best to play tight games, but it's hard with a 3rd of the lineup out.

Montoya has been unreal today. I know he's a backup, but maybe the Flames could look at him as a stop gap for the goaltending problems next year. He'll be a UFA after this season.

As long as the Flames' season feels, the Leafs' must be an eternity.

Patrick Kane has to be the most over rated player in the league. He probably won't even get 6 points this game, I mean come on!

The guy has to be the most offensively gifted hockey players in the world.

The leafs are coming back! At this rate, the Hawks forwards could quit and it'd take the leafs another 2 games to catch up.
