So it looks like the DNC is actively helping out Clinton in a big way right on the heels of a new national poll showing Sanders within 7% of Clinton. While no one was looking, and Clinton is running her corporate fundraising campaign blitz, the DNC removed Obama's anti-corruption campaign finance restriction rules. This is right after Clinton claims "You're not going to find anybody more committed to aggressive campaign finance reform than me". Shady as hell but shows the establishment is sweating bullets though.
Here's the funny thing. Most democrats that are in favor of Sanders are that way despite the fact that they don't even know stuff like this about Clinton. They just like his idealism and candor. If they truly knew what she was like, I guarantee this wouldn't be a close race.

I agree. I can only speak for myself, but I like Sander's because of him, not in spite of Hillary. But I did consider Hillary a decent secondary option. Event he email thing didn't bother me that much. But this stuff is exactly what's wrong with politics in general and needs to be eradicated. Sanders needs to win this election for the better of Americans. I hope they realize this before it's too late.

Agreed completely that I want Sanders to win, because it's the only real chance we have to stop stuff like this from happening. Chances are that his free tuition/medicare for all promises will likely end up as more compromises (but if he can manage to limit Rx costs and find a way to get student loan debt under control, it would make a big difference to a lot of people in this country, even if his current goals are unrealistic), but if he can manage to get Citizens United overturned and get campaign financing back under control, it would be very good for America's future as a democracy, not an oligarchy.
That said, not a single one of the GOP candidates will do anything to stop this, and they'll do their best to repeal the ACA, defund Planned Parenthood, limit the efficacy of the EPA, etc. So even if Sanders doesn't win the nomination--I'm still going to vote Hillary. Hillary is part of the problem with money in politics, absolutely, but she's still vastly more appealing than any of the GOP candidates. Which mostly just points out how awful the GOP candidates are.

A lot of Americans vote for their political candidates like they cheer for their sports teams. Though there is hope and it looks like people are realizing how absolutely corrupt Clinton is. New poll shows Sanders and Clinton tied in Nevada. 538 has it too close to project the winner.
There's absolutely nothing Sanders, or any POTUS can do to change anything without the ability to broker deals with the senate and congress, of the two candidates Clinton is the only one that looks half able to do that, Sanders reminds me of Jimmy Carter, nice honest guy who won by accident and was then really unable to do much with his Presidency and that weakness ushered in Reagan, who was, at that time, a right wing nutcase.

I reckon the US is going to have a revolution. They can either do it the easy way with a guy like Sanders redistributing wealth and opportunity, or the hard way in the form of social uprising or a new civil war.

I am very confused on why you think electing Sanders will cause redistribution of wealth? I am also fully aware of his promises.... it seems people don't understand the role of congress in passing budgets when talking presidential politics.
Or am I the confused one?

Just got done watching Bill Maher, because unlike others, I like his show. But anyways, at the end of it, he lights up a big joint. He was doing a rant about pot laws, but still, that was funny. Margaret Cho and Killer Mike also indulged.

Not at all.
Sanders can't do any of that stuff on his own, nor does he believe he can.
What he can do is swing the American political perspective back to the left. With the last Bush administration, the right moved so far right that it pulled the center with it. If the US is going to make the kind of progress Sanders envisions, it has to start by moving in the other direction - making it possible for people to conceive of Sanders' goals as being both feasible and reasonable. The alternative is pretty ugly.

Trump calling Sanders a Communist. I've been sort of getting a laugh at Trump when he attacks his fellow GOP candidates but this is not so funny and reminds me just what a jerk he is.
