If Bennett is getting suspended then that Shark with the kick better get suspended as well.

It really shouldn't. Treliving needs to do what's right for next year and beyond. Wins like this are memorable but we are done. Ramo injury or not, there will be no playoffs. His injury status should have zero bearing on any potential trade opportunities (hopefully).

EDIT: Unless you are suggesting they are looking to trade Ramo as I doubt that is the case. The Flames, in their history, have proven they would rather stay competitive than trade a contributing piece on even a middling team.

I honestly thought nothing would beat the Bruins OT game this year.

I was wrong.

Hiller stood tall in a really tough spot. Comes into the game 2 man gifted disadvantage with 3 min left.
OT stops several chances and stones all but 1 shooter.
Flames endured 3 two man pks 9 penalites against and beat the refs and Sharks.
Well earned 2 pts.
I am not going to fault the Flames on anything. They endured BS and somehow the good guys won.

Eric ####ing Furlatt.

Definitely the weirdest game I've seen in a long while but at least the good guys won in the end.

Even so, it's one less guy who can be traded.

Holy moly! That game had everything. Sinister kicks, tons of penalties, High scoring, an epic relief effort from the back up goalie, kids were scoring, PP's were clicking, 5 on 3's were killed.

Just a crazy crazy game.

Bennett should be getting a call from the league. That was pure elbow to face. The exact thing the league wants out. Not pleased with that.

Whats the guess on how long Ramo is out? Season? A month? Might force Treliving to pull the trigger if he firmly believes the team can make the playoffs. I'm not sure if they really want to hang the season on Hiller/Ortio now.

Agree with you. Hiller played well. And he does--sporadically. But coming in cold on a 5-3 against--deserves huge praise.

(Just want the Flames to find a true #1 going forward.)
