The TV timeouts are the first stoppage in play (non-goal and non-icing) after the 14, 10, and 6 minute mark.

3 penalties, with substantial 5 on 3 overlap? The Flames did pretty well to escape with only 1 goal. Too bad they allowed the first one this period.

Not their call. There's a mandated number of TV timeouts within a period (IIRC it's 3) and they have to get them in where they can. This one just happened to be very late in the period.
