They've been doing this every off-season. Drew Willy, Stanley Bryant, Nick Moore come to mind the last few seasons. He's simply telling the dummies in Winnipeg to try something different, like scouting and bringing up good Americans and start drafting properly.

They don't have to keep their crap but stop signing crap in the first place.

Walters with Tamanesque moves today, look no further than the Medlock signing and what he got (175 per k). Thats purely idiotic! Despite Walters trying to save his job with his Tamanesque moves today, still see too many holes in that roster where they are at best a 3rd place team. The Tamanesque moves also don't bode well for long term success.

Herb Zurkowsky tweeted that the Als are in talks with Vaughn Martin. That would be phenomenal for the Als to add a Canadian
like that.

Moore and Bryant werent great signings, but I think Willy is a perfectly fine starter. Winnipegs made some good signings this year and it just strikes me odd to see another teams GM get their dander up about it. Winnipeg made a lot of cap space releasing Picard and not making an offer on Moore. They used it to improve their team. I find it bizare that huff would take issue with it.

Huff probably has no issue with it. Since it was from Scott Mitchell's twitter, I wouldn't be surprised if he was asked about it and he commented on it.

Moore and Byrant were coming off of really good seasons when they were signed, so not sure how you can say this years signings are good already.

Paying Medlock 175K? That is just silly. Not sure how long that signing is, but wouldnt be surprised if he's released before his contract is up.

After all these "good" signings they still don't have an OL to protect Willy or give Harris the running room.
