I'm having a very hard time believing Nakladal could play as poorly as Engelland has tonight.

Who cares? The team were garbage at practise yesterday, 2 of our best players are scratches, we have 7 d out there, Hiller is playing. The fact that we are even winning(for now) is a miracle, regardless of who we are playing.

Hiller js a pile of garbage. Not sure why Hartley loves him so much.
That said, how bad are Smid and Engelland tonight. Why in the name of God don't the Flames give one of these young guys a shot. Nakladal has been stapled to the bench all game. I'm really not a fan of how Hartley deals with these young d.

I don't understand why Bob will play forwards from the AHL but not defensemen. It's a little concerning as how will this team ever break in a defensemen from their system when he won't ice them?
