I can see a little bit from his view though, you just sat 3 regulars with 2 being top scorers. You have 11 forwards and 7 D, so you're already shuffling lines. Then you have a guy who hasn't played in the NHL before all while still kind of in a playoff race.

Yeah, but it's a guy who has been playing well in the AHL. Can be be worse than our current 5/6/7th d-men? It's worth a look in my book.

Unless he is just easing him into his first game and gives him much more next game, I believe in the win or lose big. Give a good chance and see what could happen, I believe the payoff is worth more than the miss.
