Sorry - sort of checked out on the weekend after a long work week there.

If tonight doesn't work, does Tuesday or Wednesday night work? Anytime after 7 works great for me, and could probably make it as early as 6 if you really need it.

Girly do we need a full block or can we kind of play as we go? I could start this afternoon and finish up tomorrow if that works?

Otherwise tomorrow starting around 6 could probably work, assuming it won't take all night since I'll be tired.

you can kind of play as you go.

we can start tomorrow evening at 7pm and go from there. We have lots of time as squiggs is away so the next main match won't start until holiday Monday at the earliest.

I will set up the game later this afternoon.

I'm good with playing as you go too, so we can start as soon as this afternoon if that works for HG.

At this time only mrkajz44 and Hockeyguy15 can post in this thread. I will set up a quicktopic for the rest of the players.

The tenth death match is

BLACK AND WHITE III

Setup
In Black and White III, you will bet 30 chips on 10 games of Black and White. The player with more chips at the end will win. If it is tied, we replay the game.

Each player will receive 10 number tiles and 30 chips.
The even numbers 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 will be black
The odd numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 will be white

Each player will then submit to me the order that they wish to place their tiles in and place them face down. Then they will bet a portion of their 30 chips behind each of the 10 tiles (this will all be PM'd to me). You must bet at least 1 chip on each tile and you must bet all of your 30 chips.

Once both players have submitted their tiles and bets I will display them in the thread and the game will start.

IE.
Girlysports
1. B 1
2. B 2
3. B 3
4. B 4
5. B 5
6. W 5
7. W 4
8. W 3
9. W 2
10. W 1

Bet chips cannot be randomly moved once the game starts and you may not bet more chips outside of the 30 during the game.

Gameplay
We begin play starting with the comparison of the first tiles.
1. If the players bet the same amount on a tile, the tiles will be opened immediately and the person with the higher tile takes the chips. Ie if both players bet 2 chips, the winner will get 4. If the tiles are the same, both players take their bets (2 chips) back.
2. If the players bet a different amount of chips on the tiles, the player who bet the lesser amount of chips will be posed a question.
"Would you like to call the bet or fold?
If the player folds, whatever he bet originally will go to the opponent. When a player folds the tiles will be removed but NOT REVEALED.

If the player decides to call, he must take chips that were bet behind another tile (remembering that all stacks must have at least one chip) to call OR chips gained during previous rounds (money behind) can be used to call. If you do not have the necessary chips to call, it'll be an automatic fold. Once the bets match we go back to Rule #1 and reveal the tiles.

The game will end when all 10 tiles have been played and whoever has the most chips wins.

If you have any questions PM me.

Seems pretty straightforward. Thanks for giving me a game that isn't too complicated.

Edit: how come you say the games ends after 9 tiles are played, I thought there was 10?

When you win chips, do you have to move them to another tile, or they sit in the "money behind" pool? Say I win 5 chips in the first round, I can just leave those in my money behind pool all game if I so choose?

I would assume it goes into a pool, since we can't bet more than 30.

So we go one at a time with the call or fold, correct? I mean, otherwise it'd just be betting blindly for most of the game, but still think I should ask.

We put in all our numbers and bets now...But then we play out each round individually.

Haha - did you write the rules with Girly or something?

Last question - If we bet the same on say tile 4, would we wait until round 4 to reveal, or would the reveal happen right away?

Actually this game was my idea, she thought it would be good to put in.

I don't know the answer to that one for sure, but I would assume we would wait until round 4 to reveal.
