They're far too dark. Not much contrast, the logo isn't very creative, and there's a lot of piping. Dark blue and maroon are not two effective colours to blend together - they end up sort of congealing together in a very dull way.

I should know this, but who was the colour commentator tonight? He is terrible. I'm not one to usually complain about broadcasters, but even if he wasn't such an obvious homer, he still sounded like a robot reading off of cards.

Loved the compete level from the Flames tonight. A shame they don't do this on a consistant basis.

So I am starting to see why the Flames are supposedly trying to re-sign Russell. They might not think Hamilton will be ready for big minutes next year. He was #5 in ice time again tonight well behind Engelland.

Over his 3 years with Boston, he averaged just over 19:30 a game.
