As much as I truly think we have zero chance at the playoffs and i laugh every time someone mentions what we have to do to make them on tv (lol win 2 out of every 3 from here on in? Might as well hope they win out. just as likely) I still want to see them win. Screw Matthews.

Detroit is in there because they have a chance of missing the playoffs and not getting a top 5 pick.
You can't see CBJ because they are one of the lines at the bottom. They as the by far worst team in the league at the moment have a very low probability of not picking top 5. They are almost assured of a top 5 pick at this point.
This chart is about teams that miss the playoffs and DON'T get a top 5 pick. CBJ has a huge chance of picking top 5

Well it depends on when Price comes back. If they continue playing as they are it's not inconceivable that a bunch of the bottom 5 teams in the league pass them and they do in fact draft top 5.
The Oilers are only 5 points back of Montreal with the same number of games played. It's not that hard to imagine McDavid & the OilBros outperforming the Price-less Canadiens. Heck the Flames could pass Montreal. BUF could pass MTL. It's a little harder to imagine TOR and CBJ passing MTL but I wouldn't say its impossible at this point.

I'm curious if Korpisalo could be trade bait. Or Anton Forsberg. The Blue Jackets are married to Bob for a while and I think both of the younger two goalies have #1 potential. Korpisalo looks solid in his limited starts.
