Yes it was a great effort. That said it was also about as bad as two defensemen could play against a single forward. I have no idea what that one defender on the left hand side was doing on the play outside of making a case for him to spend a game in the press box.

Nice moves, but man, thats the kind of defending from the 30th placed team in the league. Lets see him do that to some actual NHL defencemen, then I'll be truly impressed.

The Blues win 1-0, Elliot with a great save in the dying seconds of the game.

The Stars lead 5-3 now. The Kings and Coyotes are tied 2-2, both of the Kings goals were on the power play. Chicago leads 2-1.

That was a pretty goal, along with some pretty ugly defense. Good for him to take advantage, though.
