Flames team looks like garbage again, like they just don't care. Poor passing, lack luster effort, weak clears, lazy penalties.

I'm ok with a trade that doesn't include this years first or second rounder, Johnny, Sam, Sean, TJ or Kenny.

If there was even a question that Wideman did that on purpose, you don't think the talking heads during the intermission would be talking non-stop about it

You were just told - it was a linesman. He had his head down and was foggy. By the time he noticed the linesman - probably just a blur, all he could do was raise his arms. The guy had his back to him and went down hard. It wasn't because it was a hard hit.

Judging by his helmet positioning, he's looking down a bit, so he likely can't see the linesman coming.

Please, tell me your infallible logic as to why Wideman would hit a **linesman** after taking an inadvertent shot to the head? Why not the player who hit him? Why not the ref who could have possibly called a penalty? Why a linesman?

Special teams the story again. A goal to tie it at 1 on one of the 4 pps, and the team is feeling better about itself. An issue all season long. Not just the goals to tie the game or pull closer in many games, just as much the confidence t gives them, or, the lack of confidence not scoring gives them, is a problem..

Watching the Wideman replay, it looks like he sees the Nashville player heading towards him with the puck right when he engages the ref. I think that explains him "jumping" right before the hit -- up to that point I don't think he has any awareness of who or what is around him.

Seriously, anyone still going on about Wideman and the linesman didn't watch the play.

Wideman gets his bell rung in the corner and is dazed on his way back to the bench. Collision with the lineman happens and Wideman continues on and sits on the bench looking like he is barely coherent.

Watching a short gif on Twitter isn't going to give context.

God I hope one day soon our team will be a team like LA or Chicago. How awesome and hype would the city be if we were a Cup Contender or champion year after year after year? We NEED a top 3 pick this year!!!!
