I think it's easy to say the team has no heart, but they are very obviously being out-coached because their personnel is not up to snuff.
Wideman scored pretty much every improbable goal you could last year. Amazingly, his chemistry with Gaudreau is the main difference between this year and last.

Sure the Flames being terrible this season saps some of the enthusiasm but the league as a whole is in a funk as entertaining games are few and far between. That Leafs/Lightning game was atrocious and this game has picked up right where that left off. Crappy product.

Who else are you going to give it to? Russell has a harder time hitting the net than Wideman does.
