Seriously can someone PM Mr. Coffee and tell him to send Jiri or TOTF a list of players he wants.....waiting 2 hours each round makes this drag on a little long.

Sorry guys, the pace has quickened and my schedule tightened so it hasn't been the best situation. I'll start sending jiri my picks.
Numminen was one guy I really wanted. Dang. If my team was an actual team... I think it'd be called the Oilers.

It's a gamble but worth it with my last forward pick - hopefully, anyways! Nice to have a rookie or two on-board.

Nice pick, Jiri. I had just pencilled Jeff Carter in for my possible next...

We'll see. Its only a good pick if he takes the next step. If he suffers the dreaded sophmore curse then it could be a very bad pick. I had a choice between him or a guy that I think is a definite 50 point, but doesn't have the same sort of potential for more.

It seems like slim pickin's now.. I have a hard time figuring out who I want at this point.. I guess I'm used to like a 8-10 person draft.

This would probably be a good time for everyone to double check their position totals to make sure they are not going to be picking an extra forward or anything.

I think there are still many decent players not selected.
The slam dunks are gone, but there are a few guys worth taking.
A lot of people though I have noticed are taking younger players hoping they break out like Staal did last year.
Guys like Carter I will admit were completely off my radar. I have been looking at veterans the whole draft with maybe Stoll as the only exception.

Oh there sure are, but at this point you're definitely looking at the guys to take flyers on. I mean, you could go with a guy likely to put up around 50 points or you could try to find that new kid that is going to blow everyone away. I always like to try to leave them to the end though :P

I'm finding this pool different than most I take part in, most likely because everyone here is a pretty big hockey fan. In my other pools its easy to save all your dark horses until the later rounds but here I'm finding some guys I had targetted in those rounds are going earlier. Much different dynamic to be in a pool with guys (and gal) that know what they are doing.

Couldn't be more true. I was a little caught off guard at how quick the guys I was hoping would be lingering later on were selected. But this also has 20 teams... which is a lot.
All defence left for me!

I was hoping to leave Eaves (my sleeper pick) until the end, but it really didn't seem like he was going to be around by the time I selected again. The number of people in the pool really changes my selection process.

Interesting pick there doozwimp.. I actually think he'll end up playing more than Huet. I'm not sold on Huet at all.
