A note of thanks
Please indulge me, but I just wanted to thank D'Arcy and all of the Calgarypuck gang for the interaction over the years.
Some things said weren't always want I wanted to hear during my tenure covering the Flames for the Calgary Sun (and I hope this doesn't bring out any negative words regarding anybody I've worked with over the years), but I know many people who gather here often had kind words to say to me and read much of what I wrote.
Moreover, even if I wasn't signing on to the site, I very often followed what was happening on it, not so much directly for story ideas but to have a sense of what fans were talking about regarding the team. It really was a valuable resource knowing what so many die-hards cared about.
I'm not sure what my next chapter will bring or even whether I'll grace the Saddledome again as someone covering the team, but I relish what was a great run doing a job so many aspired for and so few have the opportunity.
