Why Hartley puts him out there for the fourth attempt when the PP is obviously clicking tonight is mind blowing. And sure as **** he has an absolutely brutal shift which leads to two zone clearances by the Devils, a grade A scoring chance for the devils and him being laid out by Henrique.

Did you learn anything coach?
The other options were probably dead tired since Wideman was already being benched.

Throw a forward out there then, it isn't like it can be any worse.

Dennis can't quarterback a powerplay anymore, and I really hope Hartley sees that. Especially after tonight.

I would be leaning hard on Brodie and Hamilton on the PP if I were Bob. Honestly, it's just common sense at this point. I can only throw up my hands in disbelief at the personel decisions with a golden opportunity like that.

Just got home from school to discover that we actually scored not one, but two PP goals?? That is absolutely shocking. Other than that, how have the Flames looked in this one?

Rarely, but I've seen it happen when a guy tries to hit it with the outside of his foot and mis-hits it. I also like yelling "throw-in" when someone on the other team has a terrible shot attempt, even if it's not an actual throw-in. I'm kind of a jerk on the pitch.

Hartley should do an around the leauge: flames edition during intermissions. He could just read out our comments to the players.

Gaudreau > the rest of the team. Only reason why were still in this.

Both Smid and Engelland have played pretty decent this year, lets see them in next game and Wideman scratched.

We had 3 PPGs vs San Jose just recently!

True, but that game was a rare anomaly. Hasn't changed the fact that we still have the worst PP in the league.

Gio-Hamilton should be the first choice guys every time. It's awkward with Gio-Brodie being a pairing and them never being together on the power play because they are both lefties.

I know some might consider this sacrilegious, but I think at some point this season we need to try Hamilton out with Brodie or Giordano instead of Russell and run with that pairing as our top power play unit as well. Having our top power play pairing play together at even strength should help chemistry IMO.

It's too bad the bounces are going against Bennett tonight so far. Just isn't getting any space when the puck comes on his stick either.
