The Italian Farmhouse in Bragg Creek is remarkably good...and cutsie wootsie inside too. You can do the Elbow Falls drive first if you really have to show off. If they're busy, the Bavarian is also good though the German chic decore is kind of rough. If that's not possible just go drink with the depressive locals at the Powderhorn.

I have always been a fan of Cilantro on 17th.

I will say I have not been there for a few years, and my memory/opinion might be clouded because my wife and I went there a lot during the initial part of our relationship.

I will echo those that say, cook at home or go another day.

There is nothing a women likes more than having a meal cooked for her, and all the clean up done as well.

Actually, if anybody is reading this, I would love to know if Cilantro is still doing well.

Spoken like someone without kids at home...

I have missed the last 3 V-days so I will be taking Mrs. Boblobla out for some tasty eats. Heading to Alloy. Should be good times.

I really love Cassis Bistro's food. Kind of a chic spot, with really heavy traditional French food. All kinds of delicious, and a great date place.

I use to frequent here regularly in my single days and now go here once or twice a year. it's still my favourite spot.

On topic, Cilantro and Living Room are mine and my wife's favourite spots. They usually offer a chefs menu on this day, with optional wine pairings. Just beware, you'll pay for it!

This year, the wife and I will celebrate it on the Friday, as it will be a lovey dovey Walking Dead 2016 Premiere cozy up kinda night!

Villa Firenze is pretty awesome. Don't mind suggesting it since I have my table booked already... lol. Glad this thread popped up to remind me.

Whatever you do don't go to the Keg. I tried going there at around 4:30 last year and the wait was already over 1 hour long. Never again!
