It is 3-0 Penguins in the third period. Crosby has a goal, Malkin and Kessel have two assists each.
It is scoreless in the Canucks-Islanders game early in the second period. It has been a rough affair since Grabovski boarded Sedin late in the first period.

Toews takes over in the second period as he scores both goals, including one on the power play, 3-1 Blackhawks heading into the third period. It is nice to listen and watch both telecasts.

The Capitals one game losing streak came to an end as they defeated the Rangers 5-2. Justin Williams with the hat trick for the Capitals, Kreider scores a pair of goals for the Rangers. Holtby was pulled due to dehydration.
The battle of Florida had the Lightning win 3-1, the Panthers have cooled off.
The Penguins win 5-0 over Carolina.
Late in the second period it is scoreless between the Flyers and Red Wings. Ryan White gets a match penalty.

Clinging to the eighth seed in the East, but Pittsburgh now sits only one point back with a game in hand.
The Canadiens suck.

It would be fitting if they missed the playoffs. For too long they have saddled the best goaltender in the game with a mediocre team.

Wow lots of Habs haters around here. I grew up where the only two Canadian teams to cheer for were the Leafs and the Canadiens and I wasn't going to cheer for those elitist thinking COTU Leafs.

I hate all Canadian teams not named the Flames but the Leafs and Habs hold a special place in my heart as the original six teams I despise the most.

I thought that it was funny that the Hab (in English) announcers were crying about some of the calls that Montreal didn't get...the Habs were running pick plays all over the place, and were, basically, tackling the 'Hawk weak side forward, when he tried to fly the d-zone for the stretch pass play.

I was a Habs fan in 86 and became a Flames fan after Fleury got into the league. I got to win twice
By 93 I despised the Habs though.

The Red Wings-Flyers game finally had a goal happen late in the second period, Kronwall scored. Giroux tied it early in the third period and the Flyers won 2-1 in the shootout. Gostisbehere appeared to have scored the winning goal with two seconds left, but, goaltender interference was called.
The Kings did a favour for many western teams as they defeated the Ducks 3-2 in regulation time. After a scoreless first period, Lecavalier scored the opening goal on the power play.
