Can you share the explanation on why she was in the Rav 4, maybe spoiler it.

In the hour special show, it showed the nephew giving a much more detailed descriptions of what happened. He said (seemingly, without any ideas put in his head) that after they killed her, she was put in the back of the Rav 4, then Steven changed his mind, took her back out and decided to burn her instead.

Did the hour special make any mention about the lack of evidence in the trailer? No blood, semen, Brandon's sweat etc.. Or did that change as well and it actually happened some place else?
Is there anywhere to watch this legally?

Lack of semen and blood in the bed could be explained by changing and burning sheets. The garage, I have no idea.
Also Avery's ex was interviewed and she said she never said anything negative about Avery because she feared for her life, thought he was going to get out and kill her. She Said he is two faced and feels like all women owe him after being wrongfully accused for the original rape.
Also showed a lot more Dna evidence on the Rav 4 aside from the blood.
The Netflix show was entertaining and raises questions, but there is no doubt it was made from an entertainment standpoint and not an unbiased factual one.

Like what? the only thing i've heard of is the hood latch which had Avery's sweat on it?
Listened this morning, nothing too earth-shattering. Dean speaks to some of the evidence presented by the prosecution, that is being mentioned, that wasn't included in the documentary.

Q: Where is all the blood?
A: Only blood (DNA) was recovered on the bullet, that was found in the garage 4 months after the initial search. "You fairly can accuse Steven Avery of being a lot of things, but being a good housekeeper does not make the list."
No DNA from the victim found on the key, which was found after the 7th search. Also to add; none of her other keys were found on her lanyard, which were shown on the lanyard in the picture of her in front of the RAV 4.
Q: What led to the decision to not have Avery testify? Did he want to?
A: Geragos has to answer: "It's a rare case that get better for the defense after the prosecution rests".
Q: "Evidence left out of the doc; was DNA, the car hood, it's coming up in the news..."
A: Out of the 200-220 hours of evidence, that info didn't make it into the film. Like a lot of the defense evidence... On the hood there was some DNA of Steve Avery's found: it was not found in blood, no blood was found there, so prosecutors argued that it must have been sweat. Explained that it could have been found from transference by the investigative team. A criminal investigation agent testified to working inside the car wearing gloves, presumably touching Steven's blood inside. He then popped open the hood before changing his gloves. It was less significant evidence, because of the possible transference.

Dean says at this time Steve's best chance at a re-trial is for newly discovered evidence, and that Steve has a really good legal team representing him now, with which "Jerry and I (Dean) have been in the picture since his appeal, helping more informally".
Q: What do you think about the news reports about Avery and his sex chamber and his rape and torture reports in the news?
A: The 2 prisoners showed up making this claim after the new charges were made against Avery. "Snitches" as they're are called; these are guys that in all high-profile cases surface and always say "This guy confessed this or that to me and, by-the-way can you reduce my sentence?".
The complaints that it should have been included in the film are weak in that the trial judge excluded that well before the trial and the jury heard none of that.
Q: There was mention of someone retrieving the victims voicemail messages that were then erased, did that get excluded?
A: The jury did hear that voicemail messages had been erased. I was never clear who did it. The ex-boyfriend and the victims brother said that they guessed her password, but both denied that they had erased anything.
Q: You made a motion for third party liability?
A: The judge denied that. The prosecution doesn't have to prove a motive, they just have to prove the defendant did it, and intended to do it. But, if a defense wants to offer an alternate suspect they have to prove that person had a motive.
Q: In your motion, that you filed to the court, who did you suggest had the third party liability?
A: There were 4 people who had at least equal opportunity to Steven Avery to commit the crime. That had the background character to suggest that it was possible. On motive, the same motive that Steven Avery had; that motive: "None that we know".
The motion includes the persons that are suspected. However the motion only names them as: Person 1, person 2, person 3, and person 4. Naming them in such a way wasn't required, the defense thought that it was the responsible thing to do.This was done to prevent people being falsely accused, as emotions were very intense in the general public. "It got massive publicity up here in cheese-head land, and we weren't gonna name people".
Between Jerry and Dean they received upwards of 1500 emails, some of them had very good scientific suggestions or factual leads. They are sifting through the information. At this time it's up to Steven to determine who he wants on his team going forward.
Q; Have people suggested or has anybody come forward to see if they can do a more sophisticated EDTA test of the swabs?

Documentaries arent supposed to be unbiased or entertaining they're supposed to show us the side we dont already know.
Lots of documentaries come across as biased and thats because they are, their purpose is to provide the other side of the already widely-known story.
Avery's trial is a matter of public record and was widely reported, this is the opportunity to see what was left out of the news.
You dont see Avery's defence attorneys complaining to the prosecution for parading the bogus Dassey confession on state-wide news night after night and saying 'thats not fair you left out the fact that you and he made it up' but now that theres more being told thats exactly what they're doing.
Its nothing more than whining.

Watched the whole thing over three days - was totally addicted. Like a lot of you, I don't know what/how I feel about Steven's role in the murder, but I do know that the same cops and prosecutor that presented his case appeared to have zero feelings about sending an innocent special needs kid to prison who very clearly had no counsel or role in the disappearance.
Given that they appear ok with sending Brendan to jail, and it is the same place that originally sent Steven away for 18 years because of some petty anger, I'm pretty open to scepticism about whether Steven did it.
