Tinordi sucks.
Doubt the return is anything of substance.

Get John Scott out of pacific, now a new rep is needed from Phoenix for all-star game.

So, if you're traded for John Scott, do you not just retire at that point?

definitely upped his trade value being an NHL all-star.
I'm beginning to think that the Arizona Coyotes were behind the inflated votes...

Good deal for the Coyotes if this is the return. Tinordi has struggled at the NHL level, but has played strong at the AHL. He looks to be a 5-6 who just needs a year to develop.
He was stuck in waiver eligible status in Montreal, who doesn't have the room or time to develop him on the NHL roster, as contenders.
He's the kind of player that alternates between error-prone or dominant, depending on the weather.

If this results in Scott not being in the All-Star game, I can dig it.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
ARI-MTL trade call is in works. Tinordi to ARI and return expected to be John Scott and Stefan Elliott.
so former 1st rounder traded for 2 waiver wire scrubs...
if that was all it cost surprised no other teams jumped in on this
reported Habs were looking for 2 second rounders this past summer

If they are going to play Tinordi in the NHL I'm not sure this improves the team at all. Perhaps he does better in the West with some of the bigger teams, but he's a bit of turnstile.
If its 1 for 1 though - then yes its a steal. Somehow I expect the Yotes are adding something though.
