Default January 14 with eight games.

It should be a busy OOT night here as there are seven western wild card teams playing, including four Pacific Division teams.

The two teams play each other again on Sunday in Chicago so there might be some animosity building up in this game.

After a scoreless first period, Kuzenetsov scores in the second period, 1-0 Capitals.

It is scoreless in the second period of the Rangers-Islanders game.

The Blackhawks lead 2-1 after one period, Toews with the opening goal.

Sven Baertschi with one of the more dramatic reactions to a crosscheck I've seen. That said, still should have been interference on the Caps. Except it wasn't. And they scored.

Niskanen just steamrolled Baertschi in the corner, then Baertschi and Horvat were too busy being grumpy at Niskanen to realize the Capitals were in the process of scoring.

Caps looking like the Harlem Globe Trotters on that last shift against Edler and the rest of the Nucks.

Oshie just undressed Virtanen and Horvat a few moments ago. Still 3-1 though.

Why is there an Expos banner at La Centre Bell? Did the Expos even earn any banners?

Is Zach Kassian this year's Distraction Noodle for the Oilers being a bottom-feeder yet again?

Heh. Canes leading the Blues 3-1. Looks like the Canes are punching above their weight and playing better than the sum of their parts right now cause apart from the Staals most of their other forwards are crap.

And Jeff Skinner has 17 goals right now. Didn't see that coming.
