How is Kindl a defensive Liability? He may not be Robyn Reghr or Cory Sarich but he is a career +13. yeah yeah +/- is such a subjective stat, yada yada yada. I'd love Kindl to come to CGY. But no fit, too many D men already and there are no signs Treliving is close to moving anyone right now.

Hes played a while in the nhl so maybe not a tweener. Most teams have younger, better or cheaper versions of what he brings.

A ton of the votes came from reddit trolls that aren't even NHL fans. Just fans of screwed up online polls.

There are some simple changes they can make to still involve fans but prevent this from happening:
- don't allow write in vote
- no online votes

I'm sure the online hits are great for ad purposes.
They simply have to provide each teams 5 players and people have to choose from them. Like you said no write and choose from what they give you.
