Pretty sure Hanzal scored the Coyotes first goal with a backhand.

They still have the first goal as OEL's, however they've changed the winner to Hanzal with the deflection.

As someone rooting for Edmonton to draft 8th-9th,

It's just a brutal OOT. Period.

The Flames slide down to 25th.

I would like Calgary to pick a destination and run with it. Either win enough to secure a playoff spot or lose and sell off everything that can be moved.

To be honest I still see the Flames making the push for the playoffs while selling at he deadline. We've heard numerous times that Treliving will be patient with the team and will continue to sell players at the deadline as a rebuilding team.

Actually, it was Toews, with the ENG...and on the Panarin dive, it was brutal that Ristoleinen got a call against him! Should have just been Panarin for embellishment (could have been a toe pick, but doubtful)

^ much respect Foss. Not a lot of fans would call out their own player on a dive let alone feel for the opposing player. Wish more fans from other teams were like that.

Dammage...honesty and cynicism is usually grown in a sports fan that is also a CUB FAN! To be a delusional homer, well, I'll leave that to the King or Oil fans! Also, as an former defender for my college soccer team, I have little tolerance for that particular tactic.

I appreciate the kind words.

Looked accidental to me. There's video of guys doing it on breakaways too. Made more moves than their brain could keep up with

There are some dives in soccer that even when replayed in slo-mo, the diver still has plausible deniability. Panarin's is one of them. Then there are other dives in slo-mo that just look downright hilarious.
