I dont know if he deserves to be there. Its more they needed someone from the biggest hockey market in the NHL. He was the least bad option i guess?

They need someone from EVERY market. That doesn't justify using John Scott as some pathetic example. Komoov has 3 times as many goals in less than half a season than Scott has in his entire career.

Komarov is only going to the All Star game because the NHL is obliged to send one player from every team. If that wasn't the case, there are a dozen other guys on different teams in the Pacific Division that would be going in his place. He doesn't deserve to be there, he's there for the same reasons Scott is, because the NHL has no choice.
