How and when did this become a thing and can it please go back to not being a thing? I've seen it more commonly on multiple boards lately, it's horrible.

Flames letting the Avs hang around. So many prime chances, they need to bury a couple.

Apparently Ava is too long so they replaced it with the much shorter "the".

Johnny has struggled since the Duck game - not to worry, he'll get it going again soon enough

Ferland is possessed by a 26 year old Jarome Iginla. Gotta love the offensive zone time we're getting today with a lead.

I have a bad feeling that our offensive ineptitude will come back to bite us in the arse. I hope I'm wrong.

I think Johnny has lost a bit of confidence in his linemates. Trying to force it. That said, I think it's time Ferland got some time on Johnny's line.

I want to see Ferland get a good, long look on Gaudreau's line.

On the 4 on 1 Colborne has to skate hard to that far post and make himself a threat to score. Colborne has to force the defender or goalie to consider him a threat. Instead he coasted into the crease waiting for a pass. That's Monahan's role as the middle skater.
Gaudreau was looking for an opening but the goalie didn't have to move because there wasn't a legitimate option for Gaudreau to pass it to.
