Always. He should always be in, even if only for PK

Good god, our penalty killing is just awful. It's the one thing I wish this team would focus more on. You can do a lot with a properly executed system.

Good period overall, lots of chances, could be a lot more than 1-0. Ramo playing great.
If we could just get Colborne off that #1 PP unit things would be great.

Great period - the guys are skating hard. And Ramo was solid when needed. Stajan has been good.

I went "oooooooh!" with the Avs fans, instinct I guess.

Well that was a fun 20 minutes. Chances both ways and Ramo with some key saves. Energy lines are creating chances. Not a perfect period by any means, but a solid start to the road game so far.

Old habit. Is this JI's last year with the Avs, or one more? If he's a UFA, I wonder if a contender would want I add him at the deadline?

If there was a stat for it, Wideman would lead the league in firing pucks into the skates of opposing players. God he's frustrating to watch on the point, even when he takes his time and lines up a shot he still throws it for a deflection and often an odd man rush against. His play has cratered so hard compared to last year you'd think he had to be fighting some kind of injury

I do like Ehlers. But why are we watching something about a player in a different game?

Nope. Let the new team leadership solidify themselves. Bringing in a club legend would really hinder that.
The Iginla era is over.

So have things changed with gifting players PP time seeing as Hudler sat them out? In other words, how much PP time would Raymond have tonight if he were dressed?

One more year and he has said he doesn't want to move due to family reasons.

Good! Now staple Wideman on the bench during PP, and they will pick up their socks.

Ah, assumptions and all that. I see UFA and Iginla on this forum and my vision goes blurry

His play is the same. Last season he spent a lot less time on the points and a lot more time as the "left wing" on the power play.

Lol. I think that makes perhaps the only two of us on here thinking the same. Although, I will say that I hope he scores once we have a couple more goals.

Flames @ Avalanche
Haven't got to see the game yet, who's on the PP now?
