Spirited affair in Florida. 1-1 after 1,both on PP goals. Subban sorta fought Derek McKenzie after a shoulder check that caught him a little high.

Whats the buzz down in Fla? And I mean that with no sarcasm. I was down there in Nov and went to a Sat night game against the Rags and a Mon game against the Kings. Of course there was a much better crowd for the Sat game. But are things picking up with the team in contention?

The Leafs do play again tomorrow... I wouldn't be surprised to see Reimer in there for the third though. Bernier with a .600 sv% ouch!

Honestly, there is definitely buzz building. More fans at games. More jerseys in the stands. Lots of Panthers supporters here and not being overwhelmed by Habs fans for once.

To add to your query. I'm curious, are the Panthers are playing up Jagr's place in history? He will likely move into 3rd all-time for goals and points this year.

The team isn't doing much yet but that's probably by Jagrs request. However, the fans are noticing. I've seen lots of people in Jagr mullets tonight.

Intermission guys in the Maple Leafs game speculated that Marchand got 5 games for a similar hit on Salo a couple of years ago. Repeat offence but worse because he was nowhere near the puck this time. Hopefully it's a double figures suspension.
