Ovechkin scores 19 seconds into the second period and Beagle scores later on, 2-0 Capitals midway through the third period.

The Habs opened the scoring from Plekanec in the first period. Both teams have traded goals in the second period, 2-1 Habs.

Forsberg scores a late power play goal in the first period, 1-0 Predators early in the second period.

Coyle scores, 1-0 Wild after one period.

Neal is quietly having a pretty good year with 14 goals.

TBL with 2 goals in 21 seconds to take a 3-2 lead and the Habs tie it back up 40 seconds after that. Crazyness.

Anyone who uses NHL Gamecenter on Xbox One, how do you pick which feed you're watching? I'm watching the Kings/Canucks game and these announcers have already made me mad. Can't figure out how to switch though.

edit: Nevermind, figured it out.

I can't stand the whining from the Canucks announcers but I think the hit oh Henrik was at least 2 minutes.

I hate how Prust fights.

I'm probably gonna switch to the Avs/Shorks game after. I want to see Iginla score #600.

Ya, should have been a penalty.

Love how the Canucks are they to play tough against the kings. Not the best plan.

The Predators are pounding the Rangers 5-1 in the third period. Ribeiro with three assists and Neal with a pair of goals.

I don't always watch Kings games, but when I do I always wonder how people think they play a boring style. They force turnovers like crazy, they forecheck hard, and they never waste a possession with dumb drop passes or the like. Defensively they play aggressive and are willing to get burned and let their goalie make a save. They're not helter-skelter like the Stars or anything but their clinical execution is pretty entertaining.

Montreal wins in shootout. Looked like Stamkos got a bit of a skate cut on his forearm in the last seconds of OT keeping the puck out of his net.

I think it should be a substantial suspension, but it won't be according to the DOPS, because of the weight they put on injury resulting. For me, that was an intentional, predatory, dangerous play - real intent to injure - that could have ended far worse, and those are the players they need to hit with significant penalties. The fact that by sheer luck a guy isn't concussed doesn't seem like a good reason to ignore the incident.

In any event, I'm watching a few minutes of this and it's hilariously one-sided. Men against boys, Vancouver doesn't even stand a chance... it's almost like watching that Canada Denmark game earlier.

MacKinnon powerplay goal gives the Avs the lead. Soderberg and Iginla with the assists.

Shorks can't stay out of the box, Soderberg puts the Avs up 2-1.
