There is some real dead weight on this team. Raymond for sure needs to go but obviously hartley sees something in him that noone else does. Please bring up someone from stocton to replace him

How 'bout you score a goal for a change and make yourself useful, Wideman?

It really looks like Calgary is fighting it coming through the neutral zone. Next to no tape-to-tape passes. Need to simplify and slow down.

If a player loses his helmet, isn't he supposed to head right to be bench?

Granlund, Raymond, Bouma, Wideman and Engelland all looked like they were still digesting turkey dinner out there.

You know the Greasers aren't going to want to be the team that helped the Flames set a new record for home wins. Hopefully the good guys come out like we expect them to in the second and take this back.

I can't take it anymore. I really can't take it anymore. I don't know how in hell anyone who watches this team, even casually, can't see where the fundamental problems lay? I am so ####ing sick of watching Dennis Wideman and Kris Russell give up the puck in their offensive zone night-after-night. I can't handle watching Mason Raymond do absolutely nothing but get in the way. He's the most useless player the Flames have ever had in the their lineup, and that says a lot considering some of the bad teams we've had. I used to be a Mikael Backlund defender, but its time for him to move on as well. I don't see anything he does that isn't below average. I don't see anything that he brings to the table that is a positive. I have no idea what Treliving is thinking, but this team would light years better without these guys. Brad, get your #### together and fire a couple of these guys into the sun already!!!

Thing is you don't have to be a superstar to win hockey games. Granlund lost the puck but got it back, Raymond has entered the zone a few times, Bouma is invisible and Wideman, while slow, did not cause a goal against us. We are losing because of two defensive coverage failures, the Oilers are smart with where they put puck when they move it to the net, they don't force it through the middle and do a good job crossing over to the goalies weak side.
Can't be letting clean shots go from the high slot or in the crease, it's that simple. Hockey's not that complicated, we don't need world class performances every night, we just need basic d coverage.

I'm still trying to work out why Budweiser thinks aging their beer over beachwood makes for a smooth taste. Hey Budweiser, not sure if you've tried your beer, but it hasn't worked!
