Born in the USA as the goal song ... most misunderstood song in history probably.

Bad luck on that one. Looked like it was it tipped wide on the way to the net and bounced right to the US player.

Marner looks like a typical Leafs prospect.... AKA over-hyped and slightly terrible

I think Canada would really benefit from activating the D in the offence. They aren't generating a lot of clean looks. Point is just a fantastic player. He competes so hard out there and combines it with a high skill level.

I'm more than sold on Hickey. He does have that Brodie-esque skating. I'd like to see them use his one-timer on the powerplay but they have some other skilled D so I guess they just need to get settled in.

My first chance getting to watch Hickey more than the highlights. He's a smart player with pretty good mobility, excellent stick position and awareness, and enough size to take care of himself physically. Had a pretty good game so far, but he could use work on clearing pucks out of his zone and winning 1 on 1 puck battles. Nothing that makes me think he can't be a good NHL player some day. Most impressive Canada D-man in this game from my perspective.

BigTuna comparing Gaudreau to him earlier was already laughable enough, now it just seems like borderline insanity.
