Ha. That's how I felt in Mexico during the playoffs against the Nucks, and it was bloody magical.

Hot Tip: if you ever go to Cabo, seek out Shooters Bar.

Great game tonight.

Socialwing commented on the chemistry between Ball and Hrudey. Every flames game it feels like thise two are guys that you could sit and get drunk with for the game in your own home.

How lucky we are to have a young enteraining team with a broadcast crew that use to be CBC HNIC national team only.

They pointed this out during the end of the game but the flames are exactly where they were in points last year.

Really solid effort by the team tonight. Other than that mid air bat by Brodie, the Jets never really looked like scoring. Ramo had it under control, all the lines were rolling, we managed the game well in the 3rd. Very pleased, needed a win after the disappointment of those last 2 road games.

Roll on the Edmonton tire fire.

Doug Maclean was saying after the game that Johnny truly is one of the real superstars in the NHL now, and Elliott Friedman added he is also working his way into the Hart Trophy discussion!

Johnny doing Johnny things. If he plays this well when his brother is watching maybe the team should use a late round pick on him. (13 points in 16 games at BC).
isn't his brother in his twenties?

My favorite comment from sportsnet tonight came from Elliot Freidman after the game when asked to talk about the Jets deficiencies. "Well, I'm embarrassed to talk about anything but Johnny Gaudreau but........"

2 years ago around this time of year my brother and I were trying to convince everyone we know to watch this draft pick of the Flames at Boston College. How far things have come.

Just shows how much of a hack Healy is...

Remember Glenn also said pavel datsyuk had no god given talent but he works hard.

What a joke he is. He is totally lost in the hockey life if there is not a door to open from the bench.

If you think about it, if the Flames make the dance and Johnny is top 3 or 5 in points, he gets serious Hart consideration. During the dark days of Oct-Nov, he was the lone bright spot to be honest.

There were other plays playing well, like Mony, but Johnny consistently was playing like a star.

Ball has a quick wit and Hrudey eat's it up, love his infectious laugh.
